Shiny New Resume is a small, passionate team of professional resume writers and designers based in Austin, Texas. Our writers care about what you need from your resume and we go out of our way to make sure all of our customers are successful. Working with us can be a huge confidence builder since our process helps you understand your unique value while giving you a valuable outside perspective.

Your resume is probably the most important document in your life. Our process is all about honing and perfecting your resume into a powerful job search tool that employers won’t be able to ignore. We’re serious about personal marketing and we believe professional copy writing and design should be available to everyone – and we think it’s well worth paying a couple hundred dollars for.

How Our Service Works

Start to finish usually takes about 3 days. We guide you through registration and payment, and you’ll use your online bulletin board to talk to your resume writer. It’s all super easy. Once you get to a draft you’re happy with, the final 3 files will be created (.doc, .pdf, and .txt), proofread and available for download. A cover letter is also included, but expect to change it for each job (.doc file only).

We know how critical an error-free resume is, and since even the best writers make mistakes we triple check your resume behind the scenes. Once you and your writer are happy with the draft, we send it to one of our experienced proofreaders for a final look.

Our website is actually a fancy piece of software. We’ve been fortunate enough to find several talented Ruby/Rails developers to help us build more than just a pretty site. The resume writing features are convenient and seamless, but if you notice any problems please let us know and we’ll get right on fixing them.
