Your resume and all the information submitted for preparation of your resume is considered strictly private, and unless we believe we are required by law to do so, ShinyNewResume.com will not disclose that information to anyone without your authorization, provided in accordance with your opt-out/opt-in elections at registration or upon ordering with us, or thereafter, consistent with your changes to such elections at any time.

User Access. We make a good-faith effort to enable you to update personally identifiable information you have provided to us and to enable you to request deletion of any of your information. We may decline to process user requests that are unreasonably repetitive or systematic, require disproportionate technical effort, jeopardize the privacy of others, would be extremely impractical, or where information is required to be retained by us, either by law or for legitimate business purposes.

If you wish to update or edit information we have collected about you, including your email and password, please log into “my account” and change options under “edit my profile” You can also unsubscribe from promotional emails in this section. If you wish to change your address or other career related information, please do so under “edit my career info” while logged into your account.

Online Order Security. When you place an order online at ShinyNewResume.com, your credit card information is protected through the use of encryption, such as the Secure Socket Layer ("SSL") protocol. SSL makes it difficult for your credit card information to be intercepted or stolen while being transmitted.

Feedback. ShinyNewResume.com has an area on the site within each customer’s private account where they can submit feedback. Any feedback that is submitted through this area becomes the property of ShinyNewResume.com. We may use this feedback, for marketing purposes or to contact you for further feedback on the site. When you submit this testimonial, there is a disclosure that you agree to allow Shiny New Resume to display all or part of these comments on their site indefinitely. Protecting Our Legal Rights and Others’ Rights. We do not otherwise share personally identifiable information about website users with third parties unless we believe using or sharing such information is appropriate to carry out a user’s request or if we have a good-faith belief that access, use, preservation, or disclosure of such information is reasonably necessary to (a) satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request, (b) enforce our Terms and Conditions of Use, including investigation of potential violations thereof, (c) detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues, or (d) protect against imminent harm to the rights, property, or safety of the Company, its users, or the public as required or permitted by law.

If you use a bulletin board on our site, you should be aware that the correspondence within is private and only visible to you, your resume writer, designer, proofreader, and Shiny New Resume administrators. This information will only be used in your resume writing process and will not be used to send you unsolicited messages or be given to third parties without your permission.

We also have testimonials on our site. By filling out a testimonial within their account, all users give us permission to post these testimonials at our discretion.

This Privacy Policy applies to websites and services that are owned and operated by Shiny New Resume. We do not exercise control over the websites of third parties that you may link to or view as part of a frame on a page on this website.
